Did you know the cheapest way to treat for termites is to do a pre-treat before you actually build your home ???  If you let your contractor know before he starts construction, we’d come in and treat the soil and you will have great protection before it even gets a chance to get started. WOW…What a difference having a mild winter has made for us pest control people …Every day we are being asked about a pest that is not the norm !  New pests are piping up every where. I’m loving my job right now !

Brown recluse spiders are very bad in our metro area and I advise you to please have your home inspected if you have spiders to rule out if it’s brown recluse or not . I meet a gentleman just last week that got bit and the flesh on his calf was being eaten from the wound and the doctor’s didn’t even really know what they were treating him for but I knew right away when I saw it !!! Treating your home first is a lot cheaper than missing work and having to pay out Dr. bills and medicine cost just to find out you need to treat your home anyway !!!

I’m still getting lots of people asking me what termites look like, their seeing some suspicious bugs that their not sure of .  Be on the safe side and call us for an inspection…Better safe than sorry. An inspection will give you peace of mind if it ‘s not.

If you all of a sudden see holes drilled in a deck and you have no idea what’s going on, you may have carpenter bee’s attacking it !!  They actually will drill dozens of holes til you treat for them !!!  Give us a call to help you with these little carpenter’s that you didn’t hire to do their work ….

Got another call today from someone wanting an ant treatment… until she told me they were swarming !!!  Now it’s turned into a termite inspection first coz more than likely because of it being this time of year ,  it’s probably swarming termites not ants !  Make sure.  GET AN INSPECTION !!!

All restaurants that  are bringing in stock off a truck, probably the stock was in a cardboard box, brings in a roach or two from time to time !  It’s a given !!!  Hopefully they stay on a maintenance program to keep it under control .  Watch for cleanliness….if bathrooms, salt & pepper shakers, baby highchairs don’t seem as clean as they could be, chances are the kitchen isn’t clean either, and that’s where roaches Love to hang out !!!  JUST SAYING…..

I know it’s tempting when we have such beautiful days like this to leave our garages open and even some people will leave their doors open.  Don’t forget that the snakes are already active and they slip in before you know it !  I’ve already had friends tell me they have gotten them in the house already this year.  Be smart,  keep things shut and sealed.

Every time the weather changes from warm to cool then warm again …. Our phones just take off ringing again !  I love it…bugs get confused and they start doing some unexpected things over and over .  Just remember if you haven’t done any type of prevention, chances are your gonna ride that roller coaster ride right along with them !
